| Challenges and Implementation |
| When Bharti began their search for a more efficient way to handle their process, they wanted a robust, low-cost and scalable platform to support shared E-mail, VPN and other intranet applications. Compatibility with existing platform was important because the Bharti was running varied platforms. Tetra being an IT consultantto Bharti recommended Linux server platform with associated applications. We also guided them with a seamless migration path. "Initially, we looked at many other major vendors, but the choice of Linux and its inbuilt application clearly stood out with its superior and proven performance," says GP Singh. So to say, on single Linux Server they are running E-mail server to support more than 1000 users and more that 10 domains, VPN functionality, Proxy server application, firewall, Band width Management etc. with out loosing performance as well as functionality.
